Advocacy Alert: New CBP Mandatory Refunds Process – January 30, 2026

Starting February 6th, 2026, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will issue all refunds electronically via ACH. This is a mandatory transition and includes, but is not limited to, refunds for all protests, post-summary corrections, duty drawback, and any other instance in which CBP issues a refund on duty paid.
