Advocacy Alert: Supreme Court IEEPA Tariff Decision – February 20, 2026

We are aware of today’s Supreme Court decision addressing tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), and we recognize the significant interest and questions this development raises across the U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone community.

NAFTZ is actively evaluating the decision and its potential implications for U.S. FTZ operators, users, and stakeholders. We are coordinating with our government affairs advisors and regulatory experts and are closely monitoring for implementation guidance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies.

At this time, important operational and procedural questions remain unresolved. We will provide a detailed update to the membership as soon as additional clarity is available and we have completed our assessment.
