Renée Boyette joined Triangle J Council of Governments in 1996 and is the organization’s Administration and Member Services Director. In this role, Renée serves as the grantee administrator of the Research Triangle Area Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ #93) and is responsible for TJCOG’s member services, and engagement and communications functions. Renée holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s of Public Administration from North Carolina State University. She is an active member of the NC International Public Management Association for Human Resources, the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ), the North Carolina World Trade Association, and the NC City and County Management Association. Renée received the Accredited Zone Specialist designation in 2015 from the NAFTZ and was reaccredited in 2018. She was recently elected to serve on the NAFTZ Board of Directors and previously served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the NAFTZ Grantee Committee. She also serves as Vice-President of the NC World Trade Association.
