WASHINGTON — NAFTZ distributed a request for proposal (RFP) to conduct an economic study of the FTZ program. We have updated that RFP with a new deadline of March 23 for submission of proposals and revised dates for the project timeline.
We encourage you to send the RFP to any reputable, qualified firm you think may have an interest in submitting a proposal by the March 23 deadline. All proposals are welcome and will receive full attention by the project selection committee between March 26 and April 4 at which point a recommendation will be sent to the NAFTZ Board for final approval on April 11. Notwithstanding the changes in the timeframe, we still plan to produce a report in time for the NAFTZ annual conference in September.
