May Chairman’s Letter

June 7, 2022

“WOW, I’ve missed you!” – Almost everyone at NAFTZ Spring 2022

That quote pretty much summarizes the sentiment of every attendee, speaker and staff member at our NAFTZ Spring Seminar in Austin, TX on May 22 – 25.  I lost count of how many people commented it was so good to be meeting in person, that it was wonderful seeing one another, and that we couldn’t wait to do it again!

Not only did we hear from experts on a wide variety of topics, but the conference also included:

  • 6 different CBP officials presenting
  • 175 attendees, more than attended 2018 or 2017
  • 14 amazing prizes in a new silent auction (big thanks to all who donated)
  • 1 cake to Mr. James Swanson in celebration of his upcoming retirement from CBP
  • So many smiles, hugs, fist bumps, laughs, congratulatory pats on the back and just plain good times than I could count!

If you didn’t get to make it to Austin, you can see some of the fun you missed in these pictures, and we don’t want you to miss out again!  Register now for our Annual Conference and Expo in Miami, September 11-14.

You can find more highlights of the NAFTZ Spring Seminar and all of our events on our social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook .  If you are interested in helping to share the news about NAFTZ, contact Kristine Rosa to learn about our Social Media Ambassador Program.  And, of course, you can always contact me directly at Melissa.Irmen@iscm.co with any comments, questions or feedback.
