NAFTZ hosts the Legislative Summit, inviting federal government officials, policy makers and industry leaders from the foreign-trade zone community to bring Washington D.C. legislative briefings and advocacy topics from DC to you. Based on NAFTZ member/supporter survey feedback, we understand virtual remains the preferred delivery for this event and have adjusted accordingly.

2021 LEGISLATIVE SUMMIT PRICES

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: Join NAFTZ in order to qualify for membership discounts.

Member $125 $150
Non-Member $175 $200

If the current NAFTZ member is not attending the event, a substitute from the same company may be provided. Such requests to be sent to jzapata@naftz.org. *Note by registering you agree to be listed in the event app/follow up attendee roster, be emailed by event sponsors and remain compliant with the NAFTZ audio/photo/video policy on our website.

 

EVENT & REGISTRATION POLICIES

 

*NAFTZ Membership must be confirmed by NAFTZ to be eligible for discounts. If the current NAFTZ member is not attending the event, a substitute from the same company may be provided. For such a substitution, please email vcartwright@naftz.org.

PAYMENT

All early bird attendees must pay by the date of early bird deadline (1/11/21) to receive the discount rate (if not paid by this date the rate increases). All post-early bird rate attendees must pay 2 weeks prior to the event start date (only exceptions are those registering following this date who must pay in full at the time of registration). If not paid by this date additional fees apply.

CANCELLATION/REFUNDS

Registration fees are fully refundable for written cancellations received by NAFTZ by January 11, 2021. Cancellations received by the NAFTZ between January 12  & January 20, 2021 will receive a 50% credit for their registration fee toward a future 2021 NAFTZ Meeting. Cancellations received after January 20 will be responsible for the full registration fee amount due to the NAFTZ and no meeting credits will be issued.

 

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation for event registrations online should be immediate. If you have not received a confirmation within 2 business days after registering, please check your email filters then contact Victoria Cartwright, Vice President of Events and Education vcartwright@naftz.org or 202.331.1950 ext. 225.

*By completing NAFTZ registration, I hereby grant NAFTZ (National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones) the unrestricted right to use my name, contact information, image, likeness, quote(s), or voice that is transcribed, photographed, or recorded at the NAFTZ Legislative Summit February 2021 (“Legislative Summit”), for any purpose, including use or publication on its website, promotional materials, presentations, press releases, social media tools, sponsorship reference, or any other media. I understand that I will not receive any compensation for such use or publication. I understand that edits may be made prior to such use or publication, and I hereby waive the right to inspect or approve any use or publication wherein my name, image, likeness, quote(s), or voice appears. I hereby release NAFTZ from any and all claims and liability relating to such use or publication of my name, image, likeness, quote(s), or voice. By registering for this event, I agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). PII includes any information that identifies me personally (e.g. name, address, email address, phone number, etc.). Smith Dawson & Andrews, our public affairs advisor, will host a Congressional Visits webinar typically held Feb. 3, 2:00 – 3:00 pm EST (details included in Legislative registration confirmation email) to help you prepare for Virtual Congressional Visits. General guidelines, talking points, and materials are provided. This webinar is only open to those registered for the NAFTZ Legislative Summit (registration link to provide call/log in details provided to the those who registered and indicated a congressional visit interest). Those requesting congressional visit packets will receive virtual state specific details based on the FTZ Board report to Congress. Questions regarding your request for packets and/or webinar attendance email vcartwright@naftz.org.
