On February 11, NAFTZ members will have an opportunity to influence public policies over FTZs by visiting Capitol Hill and meeting their elected representatives and staff. In addition, members can join other FTZ advocates in educating Congress about the issues that affect their business and tell the story of how FTZs contribute to the U.S. economy.
NAFTZ’s 2020 Legislative Summit and Congressional Visits Day is your opportunity to become briefed on the latest Federal policy developments and FTZ industry priorities, and then to take that information up to the Hill to make sure your own Senators and Representatives understand the importance of the FTZ program and what they need to do to ensure it continues to promote American business and jobs throughout the nation.
Your FTZ colleagues across the country need YOU to deliver the message about the value of FTZs to your own Senators and Representatives. There is no substitute for face-to-face meetings with home-state constituents. Please plan NOW to join us in February.
