Join in the November 15 Webinar and hear the latest on how to overcome 301 challenges. Presenters: Sean Lydon, President, ISCM, Inc., and Erik Autor, President, NAFTZ, will review the background and applicable functionality of post summary corrections. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Sean Lydon is President of ISCM, a consulting firm dedicated to the unique challenges of international supply chains. Having operated three zones in manufacturing and distribution himself, Sean and his firm have helped companies and government organizations set up and operate successful Foreign-Trade Zone projects across the United States. With over 25 years of government compliance experience, Sean regularly speaks and writes on issues related to FTZs and global trade. He serves on the NAFTZ’s Board of Directors, is Chairman of the National Policy Issues Committee, and is a member of the Membership, AZS, and Program Committees.
Erik Autor was named President of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) in August 2016. Prior to assuming that position, he was President of Autor Global Strategies, LLC, a consultancy providing public policy, advocacy, legal/regulatory, and strategic communications services to business clients with a focus on international trade and investment, customs, corporate social responsibility, and global supply chain management. Mr. Autor’s experience includes 15 years as Vice President and International Trade Counsel at the National Retail Federation (NRF), the world’ largest retail trade association; Six years as International Trade Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance; as an associate attorney in the International trade practice group at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP; and law clerk at the U.S. Court of International trade.
Mr. Autor has also served in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Distribution Services, as a member of the Industry Sector Advisory Committee on Wholesaling and Retailing for Trade Policy Matters, and as liaison to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy Negotiations.
