What’s NEW?

The 2008 Legislative & Regulatory Seminar has added two new educational tracks on: ICE Compliance, the New I-9 and best practices for Human Resource Personnel. In addition, a Fundamentals of FTZs (Boot Camp) track for all those new to the FTZ Program will be offered.

These new offerings will enable companies who work in the FTZ program to send their HR personnel for the only ICE training session available for the industry. The ICE track will offer panel discussions with officials from the government, international trade attorneys, and consultants to provide a balanced perspective on ICE compliance.

In addition, the NAFTZ will offer a Fundamentals of FTZs track which will provide a concise opportunity to learn how the FTZ Program is structured, how benefits are accrued and the necessary requirements of FTZ participation, with an emphasis on trade facilities and FTZ procedures.
